BCFD AQUARIUM TEST Small Scale Smoke Detector Reaction Time Test After researching the reaction time on smoke detectors we located an Australian Smoke Detector Video called www.AQUARIUMTEST.COM Being firefighters we decided to see for ourself the results when conducting an aquarium test. This was an unscripted video, just firefighters seeing what really happens. We were so amazed with the result that we created a video for others to see. We understand that this is not scientific however please take it at face value. Ask yourself why the Ionization Detector didn't activate sooner. |

Open / Flaming Fire Full Scale Smoke Detector Reaction Time Test After completing our Full scale Smoldering fire video we decided to test the reaction times of detectors whe exposed to an open/flaming fire. THANKS TO A DONATION OF SMOKE DETECTORS BY NELSONS HARDWARE IN BARRE VT. We were able to place a number of smoke detectors in the same place to determine the reaction time. We understand that this is not scientific however we believe this a is real life situation that could and is happening almost every day in the United States. |
